There are two ways of booking a taxi:
In this case the customer specifies the requirement of immediate pickup. In this case the waiting time is about 20-30 minutes based on the customer pickup point. In this case the customer specifies the need of kind of vehicle and gets the instant booking confirmation. If the request is made by telephone and customer is put on hold and somehow call gets disconnected then the booking does not get confirmed.
Also called reservation, in this the customer pre-decided to book a taxi for future purpose. The booking can be through either website or telephone. Once the customer specifies the need after that the booking is confirmed and the customer gets the booking details on the phone including details of the driver.
Based on these two booking procedures the refund/cancellation policies are:
In case of Immediate Booking
If the Customer cancels the taxi booking more than 5 minutes after confirming it, then customer is liable to pay the amount shown on the meter for the total distance covered by the taxi till the time of cancellation on the basis of applicable tariffs.
In case of Advance Booking
If the customer is booking the ride in advance and somehow the customer want to cancel the booking then, The Customer may cancel the booking up to 1 hour before the proposed time of arrival free of charge. Otherwise, customer is liable to pay the amount shown on the meter for the total distance covered by the taxi till the time of cancellation on the basis of applicable tariffs.
